The more activity in your books, the more time it takes to keep everything accurate and up to date.

We look at:

How many bank and credit card accounts do you use

How many transactions flow through each month

Whether we’re reconciling loans, checks, ACH transfers, or merchant deposits

Some businesses only have one or two transactions per account each month. Others move a much higher volume of money through several accounts. That difference affects how much time we spend keeping your books clean and complete.

To provide accurate financial reports and tax guidance, we need complete and reliable accounting records.

For many new clients, the existing bookkeeping is incomplete, inconsistent, or not structured to support our service model. Rather than spending time repairing old records, we typically create a new accounting file and rebuild the financial information needed to move forward.

This process may include:

Gathering bank and credit card activity

Recording historical transactions

Reconciling accounts

Establishing an appropriate chart of accounts

Recording beginning balances

Bringing prior months up to date

Our goal is to create a clean, reliable foundation so you can receive accurate financial reporting going forward.

Catch-up work is billed separately from your ongoing monthly service. The fee is typically your monthly service fee X the number of months that need to be brought current.
Onboarding
Every new client engagement begins with a structured onboarding process designed to help us understand your business, establish expectations, and set the stage for a successful long-term relationship.

As part of this process, we conduct a dedicated onboarding meeting with your service team. During this session, we:

Introduce you to the team members who will be supporting your business

Learn about your operations, processes, and goals

Discuss how we work together throughout the year

Review communication and document-sharing procedures

Identify common accounting, tax, and operational issues that can impact financial reporting

Gather the information needed to set up your engagement efficiently

This meeting allows us to gain a deeper understanding of your business while helping you understand what to expect from our team and services.

Onboarding Fee

All new clients are charged a one-time onboarding fee. This fee covers the onboarding meeting, engagement setup, system configuration, and the time required to establish your account and service workflows.

Any required catch-up or historical accounting work is quoted separately based on the amount of work needed.
