2022 QuickBooks Desktop Updates

Beginning with the 2022 release of QuickBooks desktop software, Intuit is transitioning to a subscription based model. The main benefit is that subscribers always have access to the most updated version.

Customers who download QuickBooks desktop subscription products will always own their data. If they cancel their subscription, they will no longer have access to the software but will be able to open their company files on a machine with an active license. If their subscription expires and is reactivated, subscribers will be able to reopen their data files. Alternatively, accountants with an active compatible version of QuickBooks desktop can open their data files.

Please note that client’s with an older 32-bit computer will not be able to use the 2022 version which requires a 64-bit compatible windows operating system.
